Kate has been around horses all her life - an early love of all things equine led her to work with, own, and look after horses from childhood, achieving a number of BHS qualifications along the way. After years of working in the TV industry as a special fx artist, she decided to return to working with horses, training over two years to achieve her professional Equine Shiatsu qualification.

She is a registered practitioner and member of the Equine Shiatsu Association (tESA), and is fully insured to treat horses with Shiatsu and Reiki.

In addition to working on horses, in December 2010 Kate completed her three year training course to be a fully qualified Shiatsu practitioner for humans, and is specialising in the treatment of sports injuries and fatigue in riders. Treatments are either at Verulam Shiatsu clinic in St Albans, or shorter sessions can be carried out in an on-site chair at your yard if a horse is being treated on the same day.

Kate is based in Hertfordshire but is happy to travel to Bucks, Beds & Greater London (North) to see clients.
